INSPIRATION The inspiration for this business came when, one afternoon, our kids and their friends were all vying over one particular blanket to snuggle up in. It was an old brown wrap from the eighties. While it had only reached down to the lower back, for the kids it was like a little tent to curl up in on the couch! It was then decided to duplicate the blanket in a softer and more 'kid like' material. Imagination took over from there... The 'BearHug ' grew into what it is today through the creative advice and insights of our lovely daughter. HISTORY BearHugs Unlimited was founded in 2006 by Jesse and Ymke Dioquino. So far, it has been a family endeavor trying to figure out the world of business and apparel with nothing but an inspiration. Along the way, we have been helped and guided by some very gifted and talented people, each holding a piece of the puzzle. The BearHug is the first of many kid-inspired products, keep visiting our website!
